Sleep...a much needed thing....

This has been my position lately...she seems to like to sleep on my chest the best!! Last night we had a crazy night of no sleep, it seemed that no matter what we did she wasn't happy!! We think it was gas, but who really knows! So finally I resigned to the recliner with her so that at least we could all get a little bit of sleep in between feedings! :)

Laura,

Thanks for keeping all of your blog friends up to date. I am so happy that almost every time I check there is a new photo of Sadie to enjoy. Keep it up...but I will understand if you take some time off...but try not to. :)

She's just beautiful!

Is it sad that I'm jealous of sleepless nights with your precious baby? I know my day will come - and really I'm good with waiting and want to - but I see all these babies being born and my mommy instincts become greater and greater! Sigh.

I'm glad that you were able to get a little bit of sleep! Ethan went through a phase where he would only sleep on my chest like that. Glad that you've been able to figure out a way to get her to sleep! She probably likes hearing your heartbeat!! She is beautiful!

I'm available for baby holding while you nap or shower or get a pedicure. Remember I'm in your town if you need a break. Lily would love to meet Sadie if you would like a little help.

we have had to deal with the same thing with Eliana. she still likes being held best, but it is getting better the older she gets. swaddling her helps a lot. i've heard that swings help a lot for babies who always want to be held, so my parents are bringing one out next week when they come for a visit. not sure how you could bring that over here though with everything else you need to pack. hang in there! it will get better!

She is gorgeous! Rachael used to sleep like that all the time...she had cholic really bad and that seemed to be the only way to soothe her! I think it's being that close to Mommy's heartbeat! Oh, I miss those times! Enjoy every second of it...and then enjoy a nap afterwards!

Cady likes to sleep like that too, but she's not needing it during the night any more thank goodness :-)
