I thought I would make a list of a few things the kids have been up to lately...enjoy!
1. Yesterday Jack rolled over from his back to his stomach. This boy is officially on the move!
2. Jack is sleeping in his own room now, PTL! He sleep from about 6:30 p.m, getting up once in the night to feed and then wakes up about 7 am. Not too bad!
3. Sadie is learning how to pray before each meal, she is saying "Thank you God for our food, Amen" She is repeating each word after me, it is precious!
4. I am going to start teaching Sadie a verse this week. Excited to see her start hiding God's Word in her heart
5. The other day I had to discipline her for something...and when Clark got home she went over to him and pointed to her bottom and said, "Sadie..bad" Oh my goodness, I about died..that child knew she had been disobeying Momma!
6. A few days ago she was playing with her baby and pointed to her baby's bottom and said "baby bad" (ok, are you noticing a pattern, lots of moments for correction around here!) and I asked her if she had been disobedient and Sadie said yes. She looked at me and said "poon" I almost died laughing..and then I asked if she needed to pray with her baby and she folded her hands and pretended like she was praying and then said "ove you" (this is our routine with her, we talk about what she did, discipline her, ask her to say she is sorry, talk about forgivness and pray with her and tell her that we love her) and she is picking up on it! :)
7. Each night since Sadie was really really small we sing to her before she goes to bed, Sadie's song is "Worthy, You are Worthy" and so she is pretty used to singing it...well now when Clark puts her to bed, I can hear her singing along with him...She sings, "worthy" and then "holy" and then hums along to the rest of it. I can't help but smile.
8. Yesterday I started singing "Worthy.." and she proceeded to stop what she was doing, shut her eyes and lay down on the floor and pretend like she was sleeping. It was hysterical! I felt like my child was brainwashed..."When you hear this song, you must sleep!" ha ha!
Well, those are the first 8 things that came to my mind tonight to share with you guys.
Have a Happy Monday! :)

Like Father Like Son...
Check out my two guys...aren't they too cute in their shirts that look alike! :) I love it that Jack is starting to wear little boy clothes now...
and don't forget Sadie...she didn't want Jack to have a picture with Daddy and she couldn't...I was just impressed they were both looking!
We went to the doctor today for Sadie and Jack's well baby check ups. Sadie for her 2 year and Jack for his 4 month.
Sadie weighed 26 pounds and is 33 inches tall...she is in the 50 percentile on height and weight I think...and she was healthy as can be!! Had a terrible time with her 3 shots...oh my, I am so thankful Clark was holding her, he said it was awful!! But nothing that a little dose of chocolate can't help and she was happy as a lark! :)
Jack weighed 17 pounds and is 25 inches long. Our boy is growing fast! He is 2 pounds ahead of Sadie at this age...I think he is in he 90 percentile in weight, 75th for height (not sure though!) and he was not too happy with his shots himself! Oh my...but my wonderful husband came through again and held him too! He get's the best daddy award for sure!!
One more thing though, Sadie has low iron...got any suggestions on things that you have fed your children that have had low iron?
Okay...I am off for the night...exhausted after a 2 day trip to the other city and in need of rest...
Have a great weekend!!

He is growing up...
My little man is growing up y'all. I can't believe how quickly it is going by, can I just push the pause button for a while? Today my sweet Jack rolled over for the first time! I can't believe it, I walked into the room and he was in mid roll and then all of the sudden he went from his tummy to his back!! And as I am typing he is doing it again!! This boy is on the move. I told my mom a few weeks ago, it's so funny how things are different with your second. With Sadie, I was so excited when she rolled, couldn't wait to start feeding her solids, wanted her to walk. And now with Jack..I am like, take your time sweet boy. No need to hurry. Once he starts this rolling, can't lay him on the couch anymore, eating solids, gotta start making baby food..crawling/walking..gotta baby proof the house! So, where is that pause button and can I push it today?

A Day at the Park
We were so excited to finally have a day at the park! The weather was beautiful and we were so thankful to be able to get out and enjoy the day after several days of rain!
We started off by going to the zoo because there were so many people out at the park, we figured if we went to the area where you had to pay to get in, maybe it wouldn't be as crowded. Well, we were wrong, it was crowded. But Sadie loved seeing the animals all the same. Here she is with Clark, she had the best view.
I had this great idea of having a picnic out at the park. The weather was beautiful and I have been wanting to have a picnic for forever. We had to get pretty creative and walk a good ways to find a spot where there weren't too many people. And here we are enjoying our picnic lunch. We only had our picture taken once, talked to about 5 people and only one beggar came by. I say we succeeded for the day!
And here is me and my little man. He is precious and I love him so much!
I also just had to add...as we were leaving our picnic sight and heading home for naps, Sadie said Bye Bye to some people as we passed by, I couldn't help but overhear them as they said, wow, that little girl is speaking Chinese!! They really thought that Bye Bye was Chinese...wow, made me smile today.
Have a great weekend!! Happy Mother's Day

question...
Today out on the playground I was asked by a chinese woman, "so, do you and your son go to special classes?" I said, "what?" I didn't quite understand...she said "look, he can smile and he is only four months old, someone must have taught him that!" Wow...pretty funny stuff today!!
Had a great time today...beautiful weather...tomorrow is going to be another great day...can't wait!
