Hi Friends! I thought I would update the blog because I have a few minutes before going to pick up Sadie. I know that I need to be adding new pictures but I am in the computer lab right now, so I will add more later!
We are spending Thanksgiving away from family this year, so please be praying for them as we are away. We are thankful to be spending it with our dear friends here. Tomorrow morning we will start out with a time of worship and truly praise our Father for all that He is giving us. What a sweet time that will be, one that I hope that we can make a tradition in our family for years to come!
I went to the doctor concerning my stomach problems and things are working themselves out! I am sure being in a new environment and all of the changes that we have had to make has caused my stomach to not process food quite as easy! So, all of that to say, things are going okay, just got a lot to work through but I am on the upside, PTL!
Other than that, please pray for rest over the next few days. I seem to truly be exhausted and we just need to rest. Maybe it won't be physical rest, but ask that we can rest in the Lord.
We love you guys and are so thankful to have a time of learning and so much transition as we head out.
Sorry my words are short, I wish that I had more to say, but nothing is coming to me!
So...Happy Thanksgiving, may you find your hope in the Lord!!!

2nd tooth!
Sadie got her second tooth today!! She has been fussy all week long and now it has finally shown it's way through! I know that you all might not care too much, but I needed to "record" it somewhere since I left my baby book at mom's house...so hey, why not put it on the blog, right?? :)
Things here are going well, staying busy...last week was a hard week, having lots of stomach issues. Won't get into it on the blog, but please be praying for me that God would give us the wisdom to know what the next step is, because it's just not normal down there and we need to get this figured out before going across the big pond!
I am off to bed, it's late...just wanted to say hello!

Sweet Sadie

I thought I would take some time tonight and just share with you what Sadie has been up to! So, the fastest way that I know to share it with you is in list form. I say fastest because she has to eat soon!!
1) Speaking of eating, Sadie is getting quite good at this! She enjoys her rice cereal in the evening and boy let me tell you, if she doesn't get it fast enough, she has a little shrill that will hurt your eardrums!!!
2) She doesn't like squash. As much as I have tried to get her to like it, she just doesn't. She lets out a wail and pushes it out of her mouth! She does like green beans and sweet potatoes! Again, if I don't do it fast enough, here comes the shrill!! Next up on the menu for the next few weeks are carrots and pears so we shall see!
3) She loves to eat her feet!
4) She can now officially roll over!!!! :) YAY!!
5) She loves to play in her johnny jumper. She bounces up and down and really loves to do it on one foot. But after about 20 minutes, you better find something new, she is tired of it!
6) She loves to hear her daddy make funny noises. When he laughs really deep, she opens her eyes really wide and just stares at him!
7) She loves to be carried in daddy's arms, not sure if it's the height thing or what but she sure does love it!
8) She loves to kick back and put her feet on the tray of the stroller. It is so funny to watch!
9) She LOVES being outside and the wind blowing on her face!
10) She loves to smile at the other moms who are nursing at the same time as I am. (During our class time, I leave to go nurse her in a room with other moms) She seems to want to know everything that is going on and can't stand for something to happen without her knowing!
11) She loves to chew on EVERYTHING!!
12) In the last weeks Sadie has held her first boy's hand! Like her mother, she is going for an older guy! (He is 6 months old!)
13) She loves bath time with Daddy. You can hear her from the other room letting out squeals and splashing in the water, it's so much fun to hear!!
14) She has never met a stranger! She will smile at anyone, older people in Walmart love her!!
15) She has the sweetest personality but buddy when she is hungry you better watch out!!!
16) She loves to watch Baby Einstein, although we don't let her watch it too often!
17) She has the cutest sack she sleeps in, Clark calls her a sack of potatoes!
18) Sadie is super ticklish, she is just now laughing really hard when you tickle her.
19) Sadie has tons of little friends around here. Everytime we take her outside in the stroller, you can hear all of the kids say, "SADIE!!" and of course she gives them her cute grin!
20) And last, Clark and I love this little Sadiebug so very much and we couldn't imagine life without her!!!

I know that I posted this picture a few days ago with no real explanation to it...sorry no time! Well, this is a picture that Vanessa took for us and Kris edited it. We took this so that people would know how to pray for us as we head out overseas. We are so excited at how it turned out, doesn't Sadie look so big?? We would love to send anyone who wants one. If you will leave a comment with your address (I have to approve them first, so I won't publish your address, it's just the easiest way for you to get it to me) and I will get you one in the next few weeks with our newsletter.
We are headed up to Virginia this week for meetings. We have 8 fun filled weeks ahead of us and we are super excited!! Even though goodbyes with the family have been tough.
I am planning on adding pictures tomorrow of the last few weeks, I know I have family waiting to see them!! So just hold onto your seats, you will get to see them soon!
I am off to bed now, my child is sleeping and so should I.

My Apologies
I want to apologize to all my friends who live in Chattanooga. I wish I would have had time to see each of you. We were actually there with my parents and just stayed for a short time. It would have been so hard to fit everything in. Plese accept my apologies and know that I love each of you!!! :)

Our Quick Trip to Chattanooga...
We took a quick trip to Chattanooga yesterday. We went to the TN aquarium. It was so much fun. Here are a few pictures from our time there. Well the first one is from last week, I just forgot to add it to the last post :)

Sadie with her cute hate on that Clark didn't like so he made the ruffles go back on her head and not down because he said she looked like a Quaker....

My Grandma
Three years ago, my sweet grandma went to be with Jesus. It was September 19th in America and the 20th, my birthday in China. I can remember it like it was yesterday. Kasey and I were doing some traveling and I was calling home every morning and evening to check on my grandma. She was dying of cancer and I knew it would be any time that she would make her exit from this world. I woke up on the morning of my birthday at 6 am and called home and she had already gone to be with Jesus. What a bittersweet moment that was for me. I was sooo sad that I was 7,000 miles away and couldn't be there with my family. But I had a peace because she wasn't in pain anymore. That evening, we went and met some Chinese friends and God used them to encourage me so much. It was such a neat thing to see how He broke down those language barriers that day.
Well, 3 years later, I am married and now have a little one. She hasn't ever had the chance to meet my dear grandma. But yesterday, we got a package from my aunt. My grandma's youngest child, her only daughter. Inside was a bunny rabbit. It looked just like something my grandma would have bought for Sadie. She LOVED it so much and immediately started to put the ears in her mouth! The neat thing is that when I was growing up my grandma would buy us a bunny each year for Easter. So, even though it isn't Easter, Sadie got her first bunny from grandma today...thanks Angie for such a sweet present....

The BIG 3-0

I can't believe that today I am 30. Wow...such a strange feeling to be out of my 20's. I know it's just a number, but I don't feel old enough to be 30. Anyway...it's been a great day! I spent the morning with my dad and stepmom and then we came to my mom and stepdad's house. We went to Huntsville and ate at P.F. Changs...yummy!! And then came home to eat my birthday cake and Clark and I are watching the Auburn game. He isn't too happy right now...so I decided to blog... :) Here are a few pictures from our day!!! :)

My Big Girl!!
Today Clark and I took Sadie to the doctor. We thought she might be teething and wanted to make sure that is all it was. Thank goodness, that looks like it might be it. But while we were there, they weighed her. She is now up to 14 pounds and 10 ounces!! I couldn't believe it! I thought oh maybe 13 1/2, but oh no!! What can I say, my girl loves to eat!! :) I knew she was feeling a bit heavier! Anyway...just thought I would share with you all how she is growing so quickly!!

After the bath...
Sadie absolutely loves her bath time! Clark gives her a bath each evening and then I do the "massage" and get ready for bed. Clark calls her our little spa girl, I mean what a life, getting a massage every evening? Anyway, a few nights ago, we decided to take pictures of our nightly routine and I wanted to share it with you all. So, go ahead, sit down and join us for an evening with our spa girl.
I am not so sure if I like being wrapped up in this towel
Look Mom! I can hold the brush all by myself! It won't be long until I am brushing my own hair!

Time for the P.J's. My massage time is almost over, good thing I will get another one tomorrow night!!!

Good Night Sweet Dreams!!!
