Fall Festival

Here is my spiderman and princess!! :) I was so excited to find these two costumes super cheap. I didn't want to pay a lot for their outfits just because it's a one night thing and we are on a budget. So, I was super excited when I scored Jack's outfit at goodwill for 2 bucks! All we had to do it take it in and now he can enjoy it for a few years. And Sadie...we recycled her flower girl dress because all she wanted to be was a princess. Add a crown and there you go!! :)
We went to a fall festival at Clark's parents church. It was the perfect size. The kids got to enjoy games and treats and it wasn't overwhelming. Jack had a blast playing all of the games like he was a big kid.
We went on a small hay ride, the kids loved it!!
And here are my two playing together. I have been so blessed that they are starting to play more together. Although...there are more disagreements to break up! But with all of that is more opportunities for character training! :)
And so that wraps up October for the Forman Family.

Welcome November! :)

Psalm 23...Sadie style! :)

Sadie and Jack have been learning Psalm 23. I recorded Sadie saying her verses tonight. I say that it is Sadie style because she skips a little and goes a bit fast. We still have some to work on! But it is so cute, I didn't want you to miss it! :)

Enjoy....

Missing Friends

This past week we celebrated one year of being back in the states. I can not believe how quickly this year has gone. It seems like yesterday we were in China with our sweet friends. And so, today I was looking through old pictures and came across a few that I thought I would share. We miss our friends terribly and lift them up constantly. Asking that they will know the greatest story ever told. The picture above is of our house helper. She was definitely a fire ball. She was a precious person who was like a part of our family. She loved our children so much. Yes, she did things different than I would have liked at times but I am so thankful for how she served our family in countless ways.
Next up is our sweet sweet students. We had the opportunity to meet these students through teaching them English. Through that many of them would come to our house to visit us and we would have a chance to study many things with them. They were such an important part in our lives. I am so thankful for internet and the ability to keep in touch with them.
This was our sweet friend Cherry. I have posted her picture before. She was a student who we just came to know very well. So thankful for her and her heart!!

This was Sadie's friend Jenny. Jenny's parents lived in Canada and Jenny lived with her grandparents (our neighbors). I was thankful that Sadie had a friend who lived close by.
The last two are of our students again. I guess I am just missing them a lot so therefore you are seeing lots of pictures of them! Please lift them up as they are studying so hard in school. Love these girls and guys!!

So thankful for our time we had overseas. I wouldn't change it for anything. So thankful that Father gave us the opportunity to be Light in a dark land.

It's that time of year!!

It's Pumpkin Patch time!! When I was overseas, I always wanted to take my kids to the pumpkin patch. It just seemed like such fun!! I am so thankful that we got to take these two munchkins this year!! This time we didn't go as a family though, instead I went with some other moms and their little ones. We had so much fun! (And Clark wasn't at all sad that he didn't have to go, ha ha!) We started out the morning by playing in the small bounce house and riding the tractors (though they were too fast for me to get a picture on the cute tractors!)
Then we moved on to the petting zoo. They loved being able to feed the animals. And I loved knowing that these animals wouldn't hurt them because they are touched by children all.day.long!
Jack had no fear, he had to be doing everything the big kids were doing.....
and that includes trying to climb OVER the fence...boy do I have my hands full!
Here is my sweet boy....running away from me! :) When we got off the hay ride, he kept yelling "ball, ball" He was overjoyed to see so many "balls". He kept picking them up and dropping them. Oh my.....
Oh and here is a picture out of order....(sorry!) In this picture, he is trying to climb through the fence....

And here is my sweet boy picking out his pumpkin
Can't leave out this sweet girl!!

And so that concludes our time at the pumpkin patch. I had high hopes of getting a picture of them together...nope, not gonna happen! While Sadie was out in the patch, she decided to run away from me and not come when I called. So, here I go sprinting through the patch after her and all the while Jack is throwing a tantrum on the ground because I had left him. After I chased Sadie down and got her to come back with me I get approached by a sweet reporter with al.com. She had taken a picture of cute little Jackson throwing a tantrum and wanted to use it online. So, I said sure and now my boy is famous :) Check out the link if you haven't already seen it on FB. He is such a sweet ball of energy always keeping me on my toes!!

And so completes my 3rd post of the week! I am most definitely on a role....let's see how long I can keep this up :) Tomorrow we are gonna paint our pumpkins, maybe I will take a picture of that :)

"Sure, I'll be your flower garden"

My sister got married this past weekend. When Kayla asked Sadie if she would be the flower girl in her wedding, her response was, "Sure, I'll be your flower garden" And since that day last spring Sadie has gone around telling everyone she was going to be a flower garden. I just didn't have the heart to correct her because it was just too cute! And so last weekend, Sadie finally got to be a flower garden! Here are just a few pictures from the weekend. I didn't take as many as I would have liked, I was just too busy chasing after a busy little flower girl!

I was so proud of Sadie. She did excellent! I wasn't sure if she would walk down the aisle with everyone looking at her. But she did!! And even better she stood up in the front and didn't make a scene for the whole ceremony! I was one proud momma!!

We had a great weekend but now it is going to take a whole week to get over all of our travels!

And now, you should be proud, two posts in one week! :) And I have one more to come...this might be too much for this little blog!
