Update..

A lot has been going on in our family lately! Clark has a job! His first day was today. He will be working in sales for a air conditioning company in the town we are living in now. (I know that I am not describing it correctly but it's the best I can do!) Clark has done this job before but with a different company. He is excited about the journey he is about to take!
Last week we bought a Honda Odyssey. Yes, I am now joining the ranks of being a soccer mom. And I love it!! It has been so exciting and I love having so much room (compared to our Accord!)
Anyway...so we are settling into life here. I am excited about getting into a routine with just me and the kids as I don't want to waste the days away but yet have fun with the kids all at the same time.
The kids seem to be doing good. Sadie has potty trained herself. What a blessing! And Jack at most of his food at dinner. That is HUGE. I think it is a battle of wills with that child. He has to learn he can't get away with spitting food out.
Well, I know that this is all over the place but I did want to update and put our Easter picture up.
Going to bed now. Need sleep.

Happy 15 months!

I took Jackson to the doctor today for his 15 month check up. My little baby isn't a baby anymore! He is in the 50th percentile for weight (I think around 24 pounds?) and in the 90th percentile for height. This little boy is gonna be a tall one! Most of my family is in the tall side (except for me that is!) So hopefully he is going to tall too! He had to have four shots today and he did amazing. He didn't really cry until the last one and even then it was only for a few minutes. I was dreading it but he did amazing.
This little boy is definitely all boy. I love him so much. His favorite things to do is climb up onto the coffee table that you see here and also go straight into the bathroom and put his hands into the toilet. He loves his sister so much. So much that he loves to pull her hair at every chance he gets! :)
He still isn't saying too many words yet but he is understanding everything that I am telling him to do. He knows to go to his seat to eat. He can also go and get me his shoes and his diapers. I love it when I put his shoes on him because he goes straight to the door.
He sleeps very well. He still has 2 naps a day sometimes. It all depends on if we are home during the morning hours. He usually goes down about 7 and sleeps until 7 the next morning or so. I learned after having Sadie that it is better to just lay him down, with her I sang to her, rocked her etc. And with him, he learned early on to just lay down in the crib and go to sleep. And so, now he does. I do miss my cuddle times with him though.
Anyway, this is just a few things about my precious little boy! I am so thankful that Father has entrusted us with this blessing.
Happy 15 months little boy!! :)

A surprise!

Yesterday, Clark and I decided to surprise our best friends by attending their son's baptism! It was such a special day and so thankful that we could be there with Kris and Vanessa and the kids. They are our dear friends whom I have talked about here quite a bit. I thought I would show you a few pictures from the day. I don't have one with their son but just know that he is great and we are so proud of him for his decision to be a Christ follower! And by the way, this is me and Vanessa, and no, we aren't really sisters, even though many think we are! :)
Here we are with our daughters. Sadie thinks that E hung the moon! She loves her and loves being around her.
And here is our precious little Jack...makes you smile doesn't it? :)

And for the life of me, I cant get Sadie to keep her eyes open. She loves to just smile so big! Which by the way, my little girl is getting so big! She has went 2 days with a dry pull up. So we pulled out the big girl panties and she is doing great! I must be honest, I didn't do anything this time to train her. She completely did it on her own! I am ever so thankful since I still have a little boy is as picky as ever. But I am getting more and more down him so maybe we are in the upside of this picky stage? I sure hope so!
Hope you are having a happy Monday!

My little model...

So, do you all have one of these?? My little model kept saying, "take my picture" And so of course, I had to take her picture while she was willing to smile. They turned out so cute and made me smile, I just thought you guys would enjoy her smile too... :)

And here she is enjoying her daddy's birthday cake. Clark had a total of 4 birthday cakes over the course of the weekend and he has one more waiting on him at mom's house. Can you say we have been enjoying this birthday celebration or what?

And I can not leave out this sweet little brother who wanted his picture taken too!

Before I leave you guys, I have to share one quick Sadie story...today she was being very disobedient today as we were at Sam's. Everything I asked her to do, she wouldn't do it. Oh, my frustration level hit an all high. I told her she was going to get disciplined when we get home. So, as I took her inside, she looked at her little kiddie chair and said "Mom, I will get my chair so I can sit down and we can talk about it." I almost died laughing, it took all I had to keep my composure and not lose it. I said, "Yes, sit down so we can talk." She sits down with one leg crossed over her other knee and looks at me all serious. She proceeds to tell me her verse, "Children obey your parents." Can you tell she has had to do this a time or two? (or three or four!) And after our time of discipline was over she came and hugged my neck and headed back to the car. That little girl! She keeps me laughing all the time!

Happy Birthday Clark!

Happy Birthday to my sweet husband!! He had a great birthday! It was the first time in 3 years that he got to sleep in! The kids and I went over to a friend's house for a play date and he got to relax at home and enjoy the peace and quiet! :) When you have kids we have learned that is definitely a blessing! This evening we went over to his parents house for a birthday celebration. We enjoyed eating way too much food! We are completely stuffed. Clark had a great birthday and that makes happy.
I am so blessed by this wonderful man that God has placed in my life. I love how God puts two people together. He knows exactly what we need! No, it is never easy but being refined to be more like Him, never is. But it's oh so worth it!

I love you sweetie, Happy Birthday!
