Susie and I spoke yesterday at Mountain Brook Baptist Church.  We had a great time sharing what God did in our lives while in overseas.  As it was ending, a man got up and shared with us how they have a table with smocked dresses that were made by refugees on the Thai-Burmese border.  I wanted to one so bad, but didn't have the money yesterday (you know how it is at the end of the month!!).  Anyway, as he was standing there, he said that they wanted to give me a dress for Sadie!! They took up money to pay for it and took up so much money that  we were able to get 3 dresses for Sadie! I was so excited.  She is going to look so cute in them and what an amazing thing that they were made by precious refugees!!
Anyway, I just wanted to share with you how God is continuing to bless us!!!
Be praying for me...my energy isn't at its best today...*sigh* the never ending joys of growing a little one :)
And also be praying, I have a list a mile long that needs to be done this week....and I am hoping to take it one day at a time....I love crossing off finished things on my list....what a way to feel like you have done something! :)

Answers to Prayers...

You know how I wrote a post a few days ago, getting a little stressed out because I wasn't sure what to buy for Sadie?? Well several of you wrote with ideas and things that have worked for you all, thank you a million times over!! I also wrote several friends overseas that are going through the same thing or have already gone through the same thing and they wrote back with amazing advice and just so very helpful!!! And the best part is, this morning at church, a friend of mine gave me all her baby stuff she doesn't need anymore!! A carseat (practically new!) a baby bathtub, swing, 3 bags of cute baby clothes and more!! Isn't God good?? It will save us a ton of money and oh what a blessing!! I just had to update you all on that and just share with you how God is constantly providing for us! Oh and Clark's aunt gave us a changing table, yay!! :) So, anyway, that is life here.  Please pray for me, I have been traveling this weekend and about to leave again to go and speak somewhere and I am worn out.  It's amazing at what doing so little will do to you when you are growing a little person inside! :) So please pray for that!! Love you guys and thanks again for your prayers!

Please be praying for my family.  Last month, my granddad died (my stepdad's dad) and it was so hard on all the family.  Well, this morning I get a call from my mom and my aunt (my stepdad's brother's wife) passed away in her sleep.  He has two brothers and they both had such a hard time with their dad's death.  And now, Larry, the oldest brother just lost his wife a month later.  My heart hurts for them so much.  I just wanted to ask you all to pray.
Thanks!
To update you all on the situation: Lana (my aunt who passed away)'s mom passed away a few hours ago.  She was brought to Lana's house and Lana was taking care of her and they knew that it was any day now, but it's hard when it's all in one day.  And Linda (My stepdad's other sister in law) was just admitted into the hospital to have tests run because they think she had a mild heartattack.  So, please keep up your prayers.....

I thought I would add a picture since I haven't done so in a while! This is me and Clark enjoying our first snow together! Sometimes I still can't believe that it actually snowed in Montgomery on days like today when it was in the high 60's and we are expecting 70 degree weather next week! We still had a great time with friends and enjoyed bundling up!!!

Should it it be blue and brown, oh no maybe black and white...aah who knows!!!

Did you ever realize there could be so many choices when buying things for a new baby? I had no idea!! I have had to learn  new lingo, if you would have asked me 6 months ago what a travel system was, I would have had no idea!  But now I know that it is a stroller, car seat and the thing that you put in the car to put the car seat in.  Obviously I don't remember that word! :) And so the hunt begins, what kind of stroller do I need? And then what color do I need? Which one would show the least amount of dirt? And then I have to take in consideration that I will only be using it for 6 months in America and then headed out over the big blue ocean! To a place where I might just be living on the 3rd or 4th floor and trying to carry a stroller and a baby and groceries, not possible! And so I have been looking for a lightweight but yet sturdy with gender neutral colors and of course the best price!! So, I have looked at Target, Walmart, BabiesRUS, local shops in town and even have begun to drag Clark with me to check them out.  Because of course he will be pushing little miss Sadie too!! I have yet to make up my mind but am narrowing it down quite a bit! And then comes the decision of umbrella strollers, packnplays and oh so much more!!! This can be quite overwhelming when all at the same time, you are trying to decide just how much of this can we take with us when we leave.  And then comes the colors in the nursery......oh I will have to save that for another post! :)
As you can see I am not the best at making decisions, I seem to change my mind everyday! Oh the story of my life....*sigh* Any moms out there with suggestions as to what they have seen work best with their little ones??

10 happenings in the Forman household!!!

So, I am stealing this idea from some friends, it's much more fun to share with you all 10 things that have been going on in our life lately...so happy reading!!
1.  Clark felt Sadie move last Saturday night...11 times in a row actually!
2.  On Wednesday  night, we actually saw her move...it was the most amazing thing to see my belly just poke right out!
3.  I have had a craving for Honey Nut Cheerios this week....
4.  Clark and I have started reading 1 Samuel together and praying together each day, it's been amazing to see how our marriage has grown!
5.  I have found that I get just as tired in my 2nd trimester as my first...hmm, and they said this was suppossed to be the easy part...not so for me!
6.  I went to a consignment sale this week and bought lots of cute things for Sadie, I love sales!!!
7.  I had a Valentines Party for some of our students last night and we made sugar cookies and watched a movie...fun times!
8.  Clark and I celebrated Valentines on Tuesday and I made dinner and we ate by candlelight, at 4:30 in the afternoon because I was hungry! When a girl is hungry, she's gotta eat!!!
9.   We have a lazy Saturday ahead of us and I am very thankful for that, those don't come very often!
10.  And let's see, one more to finish it off, I gained 10 pounds this past month....aahh, I have been too hungry I guess! :)

That's about it from the Forman household.... :) I think I will go start breakfast....I am thinking bacon, eggs, grits, toast....oh my stomach is growling....I better go now!!!

I am here...

Okay so I am here....I am a silent blog reader...even to my own blog, pretty sad isn't it?? :) I don't know why I never find the time to write and even as I sit here right now, I don't have the time.  But yet I knew that I needed to write something :)
Just to let those who don't know or don't have facebook or myspace, Clark and I are having a little girl on June 3rd (maybe before or after, who knows when she wants to come!!) and her name is Sadie Katherine and we are going to call her Sadie!
We are super excited and I can't wait for her to get here! Although I sure am enjoying the sleep I am getting right now, b/c I know that is about to be over :)
Well, I just wanted to let you all know that we are alive and well....and maybe when I have more time...there will be a much longer blog on the life of the Formans!!
Until then...thank you friends for still coming and just hoping that we would write...well that is if there is anymore of you out there :)
