Desperate times....

call for desperate measures....

Enough said......

Just back from the beach...

Clark, Sadie and I just returned from a few days at the beach. It was Sadie's first time to visit the beach so of course we took lots of pictures and I thought I would post a few, okay more than a few, so that you all enjoy our time at the beach with us! :)
Things are going well here. Sadie is still doing pretty good sleeping. Her average sleep time is from 9pm to 3am and then after that eating every 2-3 hours. So, things are going good in that area. Sadie is starting to have a fussy time in the morning and evening. But her sweet times make up for that! She has been laughing and smiling so much this week. It has been so fun to see her change and grow and just enjoy her!
We are enjoying a few more days down with Clark's parents and then we are heading north! But in between I will get the chance to show Sadie off to everyone at Judson. I can't wait for them to meet her! :)
So....that's it from the Forman's. I am going to have fun looking at blogs while my child is sleeping...so I hope that means you all updated :)

A Quick Update with lots of pictures of our sweet girl!

Hey Friends! Things in the Forman Family have been busy! We have been at my mom's house and traveled to Nashville, North Carolina and Georgia and now we are at Clark's house! I just haven't had as much time as I would have liked to post pictures. So here I am at 11:45pm posting pictures knowing that I am going to have to get up in a few hours to feed Sadie! So, here are some pictures for your enjoyment and maybe next time you will get more words from me!
We are headed to the beach with Clark's parents tomorrow, so look to hear from me next week with beach pics!!

Sadie looks just like my brother Blake in this picture!

He made her smile!!

Pretty in Pink

She is looking in the mirror at herself and sticking out her tongue!

We are having so much fun with Sadie...this week she is laughing and smiling at us all the time! As we speak, she has gotten to sleep all by herself!! This is the 4th night in a row that I have put her in the bed awake and she has gotten to sleep herself. As you all know, this is HUGE for us compared to what we went through a few weeks ago! You all are so right, it does get easier. I was getting a little worried a few weeks ago wondering if there would ever be light at the end of the tunnel and it really has gotten so much better. Anyway...that's it from me tonight, gotta get some shut eye! Sweet dreams!

Alive and well...

I realized after looking at my blog this morning that it has been a while since I have written! Well, we are alive and well around here.  We have moved out of our house and are officially living with the parents.  We are now up in north alabama enjoying time with my parents.  We have been having a good time.  Clark and I like to jokingly say that we are retired and now spending our days with Sadie deciding what we should do to entertain ourselves.  We are very blessed to have this time together with her and with our families.
I am planning on getting my camera out putting some new pictures on here of Sadie.  She is growing more and more each day.  We went last Thursday for her one month doctor's appointment.  She is now 10 pounds 9 ounces and is 22 1/2 inches long.  To tell you how much she has grown, she was 9 pounds 6 ounces, 20 inches long when she was born.  My little girl likes to eat!!!  She is getting MUCH better about sleeping at night.  For the past 5 nights she is doing a 5 hours stretch, I wake up to feed her and put her back down for 3-4 hours and feed for 15-20 minutes and then she goes back down and 3 hours later is up and ready to eat and start the day.  I have found that my friend Jen was so helpful in her thoughts of having a routine with her in the evening.  We have been trying our hardest to do that the past week or so and it really has helped! Now, of course every night is not perfect, but she is doing so much better.  I am so proud of her! I will admit, I think that the reason it was so hard a few weeks ago was because we were under so much stress of having to pack up our house and move and with my c-section, it was just not fun at all!! But better days are ahead :)
Well, that is just a quick update of the Forman household....I will try to add pictures soon. Right now I am just crossing my eyes that (okay, so I just had to leave what I wrote to begin with, to give you a laugh and let you know that is how tired I am, "crossing my eyes".. :) I meant to say,  crossing my fingers that my daughter's eyes will remain as heavy and as I look at her now, they are closed!!! And you know what that means....I can close my eyes too....so I am off...Have a great day!!
