Sadie…a girl that can make you smile instantly! I am so thankful for this precious little girl that Father has entrusted in our care. She has taught me so much and stretched me in so many ways! Lately, Sadie’s vocab has picked up unbelievably. She is talking like crazy! She loves, loves, loves to look at her Bible. It is the first thing she asks for when she wakes up and the last thing she looks at when she goes to sleep. Right now her favorite story is Lazarus. She likes to scream “Lazarus, come out” And then when she turn the page and he comes out of the grave, she goes crazy and starts clapping her hands, it is so cute! And each night before we go to bed we have this routine of kissing the pages of Adam and Even, Abraham and Sarah, Mary and Joseph, and now we have added Lazarus. And don’t forget the front of the book with the stars, they need kisses too!
She has also picked up on the words “mine and “stop it”. She uses this quite frequently when her little brother is trying to play with her toys. I can see a glimpse of the days to come. We are trying hard to teach her to share and not to use those words, but oh my is it hard!
She is also my little helper at meal times. She is now setting the table for me and loves to help me put things in the trash can and in the sink. She is such a good eater and can eat all by herself! We are also learning to ask permission before getting out of her seat, she is doing really well! She also prays before meal time. Now, that is such a precious thing to hear a little one offering prayers to our Heavenly Father. I need to video that one so that you guys can hear it too, it is so sweet!
Let’s see…what else has this little one been up to…she loves to do puzzles! She is working on the ABC puzzle, the other day she called it the “OPQ” puzzle…made me smile! She also loves playing with her babies and putting them down in the box to go “nite nite”. She loves playing with her daddy. It is so fun to hear the giggles that come from her little mouth as they play with the balls, blankets, oh just about any thing!
She is so good with Jackson. She helps him with his cup, tries to feed him (I don’t let her do it just yet though!) And just loves to make him laugh!
I am so thankful for this precious little girl and can’t wait to see how she continues to grow up!

THanks for sharing that, Laura. SHe is growing so fast! I remember how much from I had playing with here the night before I had to leave last year, and now I can't wait to see the walking, talking Sadie. Maybe she's remember me- we'll see. :)
Such a cutie!
You do have such sweet and adorable children. Hug them close, dear friend!
