Our First Blog

Well, we are finally joining the world of blogs! I have often "spied" on many of my friends, keeping up with their lives through their blogs. And finally, just a few days ago, I realized, maybe others might just want to spy on our life! No really, I really wanted our friends to be apart of our life, to share with us as we are learning and to know how to pray for us. This is mainly going to be a blog where, I, Laura write to update. Clark isn't much for computers! But maybe one day I can get him to share his thoughts with us!!!

To bring you up to speed with our life:
I returned home from China in March 2006, remet Clark again (long story!!), we were engaged on April 23, 2006 and happily married on September 09, 2006. We currently live in Montgomery, Alabama. Clark works for Young Life Ministries where he works with high school students by building relationships and being apart of their lives. I work for Judson College as their church relations rep going to churches around the state sharing how God used Judson College to take me to China. I love my job and know that this is exactly where God has me!!

To share our future plans with you:
Clark and I are in the process of going back to China. We have been praying about what God has planned for our lives since we said, "I do"! We feel so strongly that this is what God is asking of us, to give Him our lives and serve Him in China.

And that is where you come in! We want you to be apart of this with us. We want to share with your ups and downs as we head down this road that God has planned for us. We want to share with you what we are learning and how Father is using this to mold us and make us into what He wants us to be. And in that, we will add all the funny stuff that happens in our lives! We can always keep each other laughing!

We hope that you enjoy reading about our adventure and may we always give Him glory!

May the words of our mouth and the meditations of our heart be pleasing in your sight, my strength and my reedemer!!

I love your blog and finally I get to see some photos of your hubby! ;)

Your blog is very encouraging. I want to give more glory to God after reading it. And now we can learn how to pray for you.

Hopefully someday I'll meet Clark. You are always welcome to visit us in San Jose. Perhaps on your way to China. ;)

Laura,
I am so happy that you are blogging. I must get on board with all of this. I miss you tons and take full responsibility for my lack of initiation in getting in touch with you since your return to USA. Life blinks and it's been a year or 7 since graduation. Chad, Ethan and I will add you both to our prayer list: for wisdom for the future and to somehow reconnect with us soon. We love you!!! ~ Missy
