The latest...

Last night went really well!! Praise the Lord! We gave Sadie milk before she went to bed like I told you guys. And then at about 2 am she woke up crying. It was off and on at first so we just let her go for about 10 minutes and then the crying got worse. It is such a stressful feeling trying to decide what to do for her but having absolutely no idea! So Clark went in there and took her milk and changed her diaper. After that he did the bedtime routine and put her back down again and we didn't hear a peep from her until 7 am!! Isn't that awesome? I do think a lot of it is the prayer that went into it before she went to sleep, before we went to sleep and while Clark was in there with her. I was praying like crazy!! So, we shall see how tonight goes!

Today, Sadie and I got out for a little while. Lately, I have really been seeing the need for her to have more fresh fruits and veggies. And being here, it is so easy to get them, I knew that I needed to take advantage of that. So, we went to the market and I bought apples, bananas, strawberries, cucumber, cauliflower, zuchinni, cherry tomatoes and green beans. We had fruit for lunch and I plan on serving some cucumber for dinner to see if she likes it. I am not a fan, but you never know, she might like it!! What do you guys give your kids for snack? I am really having a hard time finding things that are healthy for her and easy to fix. I did find a website, wholesometoddlerfood.com that I am hoping to read more about. I used their baby site a whole lot when I was making food for Sadie, so I am hoping this will help!

Anyway...gotta go for now...Sadie and I are watching the Little Mermaid...I love this movie!

Lily loves cucumbers. She would eat them until she got sick. She'll also eat a little more variety if she has a dip. Ranch for vegetables or yogurt for fruit. I also find we all eat more is I get them all ready as soon as we get home. Washing, cutting, whatever needs to be done. It's much easier to just grab a health snack if you don't have to prepare it first.
