Guys Night

It's hard to find things to do for fun around here. So the guys have to get a bit creative. It's not like they can enjoy pedicures and manicures like we girls can. Well...I guess they can, but four American guys walking into a salon...not something they will be doing any time soon! A few weeks ago, the 4 guys decided to get together and hang out. They went to a local arcade and played video games until their hearts were content. But they thought, surely there is something else we can do to add to all of this excitement. And so what do you in Asia for fun? KTV, yes that's right, Karoke. In Asia, we call it KTV and it adds a whole new element to what you think of a karoke machine and a microphone. They started off by going to the biggest place in town. There were bright lights on the building and they just knew this had to be the place. Well...I guess everyone else in town thought so too, because it was booked. So, one of the guys decided they would try a place that his friend owned. This place was called Emmanuel, great name huh? A family member owns the place and gave it this name, I loved the idea! They go inside and there is room for the guys. Well, here you get to book your own private room for three hours to sing until your heart is content. In the room there is an eight foot wide projection screen, tv, and leather sofas and even your own private bathroom. And surround sound like you have never heard before. They bring you snacks such as watermelon, boiled peanuts, popcorn among many other things. So, here are these four guys relaxing in their own room, eating snacks and choosing songs that they could sing at the top of their lungs. Just picture it with me, I can imagine it was a sight. They began to sing...and this is what they sang: songs by Abba, REM, Backstreet Boys, Billy Joel, B 52's, among many other things!! They ended up coming home about one in the morning. These boys were enjoying hanging out, Asian style. Anyone want to come join them for their next guys night?? :)

One night they guys all got creative when we were hanging out at our friends house. They started playing with the plastic balls and seeing if they could make crazy shots...kinda like a small game of horse. Here is one of the guys doing some funny moves waiting to see if anyone can copy him and win the game! What these guys will do for fun! :)
