Busy as a bee

Today I thought I would share with you all a portion of what Sadie does each day. There was so much more but I just couldn't get a picture of every thing she did but here are a few things!
She started off the morning by helping our househelper make the bed. (We have someone who comes 3 days a week in the morning to help me out around the house and boy does it help!! Sadie loves, loves, loves her! She always wants to be everywhere she is.) And so here she is amongst all the pillows playing peek a boo with Zhou Li (our helper/friend)
A few weeks ago, I taught Sadie how to put her shapes into her shape container. And now she wants to do it all the time! But she gets so frustrated when she can't get the triangle to go in the circle hole. I wonder why? :) One day when Clark was helping her, she jammed the circle in the square hole and then clapped like she got it right! She is a nut!
Here she is playing with her finger puppets. We got them while at IKEA and although she is still a little young for them, she loves them!! She can occupy herself for a solid 10 minutes while she empties the bucket with the puppets and tries to put them on her hand. And then she goes and puts them in the shape bucket because with the puppets they don't need to go in a certain hole, they can go in all of them.
Sadie has this thing with putting things on her head. She loves to put blankets, shirts, shorts, anything on her head and walk around.
And what she loves even more is putting them over her eyes and walk around. We have to keep an eye on her because she has been known to have some close calls with doors, walls, furniture, etc!
And this is yet another one of her favorite past times, playing in my underwear drawer! Usually each morning, she comes in our room to play for a few extra minutes on our bed so that we can wake up, after she has had all she can take on the bed, I put her on the floor and she opens up my nightstand drawer and has a field day with my underwear. She has been known to have 5 pairs around her neck at one time. Then she walks to Clark's side of the bed and that is when I say "tag" to him, shut my eyes and let him watch her for the few minutes she is over there getting into his underwear drawer. She is such a sight!!
This has been Sadie's favorite face for the past month of so. We haven't gotten a really good picture of it because she is too fast for us. It makes us laugh each time we see it.
And last but not least, Daddy/Daughter time. Sadie loves for you to read her books. She will go in her room, pick out a book, bring it back to you and takes a seat in your lap and is ready to listen to you read to her. Her favorite part is turning the pages and pointing out every "gou gou" (chinese word for dog) that she sees.

Well, that about wraps it up for today!!! Maybe next time, I will include the other half of the day in pictures...I am telling you, we have one busy girl!!
