I thought I would make a list of a few things the kids have been up to lately...enjoy!
1. Yesterday Jack rolled over from his back to his stomach. This boy is officially on the move!
2. Jack is sleeping in his own room now, PTL! He sleep from about 6:30 p.m, getting up once in the night to feed and then wakes up about 7 am. Not too bad!
3. Sadie is learning how to pray before each meal, she is saying "Thank you God for our food, Amen" She is repeating each word after me, it is precious!
4. I am going to start teaching Sadie a verse this week. Excited to see her start hiding God's Word in her heart
5. The other day I had to discipline her for something...and when Clark got home she went over to him and pointed to her bottom and said, "Sadie..bad" Oh my goodness, I about died..that child knew she had been disobeying Momma!
6. A few days ago she was playing with her baby and pointed to her baby's bottom and said "baby bad" (ok, are you noticing a pattern, lots of moments for correction around here!) and I asked her if she had been disobedient and Sadie said yes. She looked at me and said "poon" I almost died laughing..and then I asked if she needed to pray with her baby and she folded her hands and pretended like she was praying and then said "ove you" (this is our routine with her, we talk about what she did, discipline her, ask her to say she is sorry, talk about forgivness and pray with her and tell her that we love her) and she is picking up on it! :)
7. Each night since Sadie was really really small we sing to her before she goes to bed, Sadie's song is "Worthy, You are Worthy" and so she is pretty used to singing it...well now when Clark puts her to bed, I can hear her singing along with him...She sings, "worthy" and then "holy" and then hums along to the rest of it. I can't help but smile.
8. Yesterday I started singing "Worthy.." and she proceeded to stop what she was doing, shut her eyes and lay down on the floor and pretend like she was sleeping. It was hysterical! I felt like my child was brainwashed..."When you hear this song, you must sleep!" ha ha!
Well, those are the first 8 things that came to my mind tonight to share with you guys.
Have a Happy Monday! :)
